Good Friday in Boracay

Boracay has a new policy since last year that no parties allowed on Good Friday. All establishments cannot play loud music. It is to give Christians a chance to reflect on the significance of the week.
To be honest i don't really care at the no party policy. It's because Ryan will still need to work tonight in our hotel room. :D
So all we did today was just eat and sleep. In the afternoon we just had lunch at Deparis Resort, one of our favorite place here. They make really nice cocktails and food is pretty good also especially for the price.
Then at night time i wanted to have all you can eat dinner, But Ryan is really picky especially if it's all Filipino food. So we both agreed to have dinner at Sea Wind Resort. It's a nice hotel and we've already eaten here before and we both loved it. They got big menu. All foods are fresh and tasty.

Happy 8th Birthday Khenzie

My handsome boy turned 8 today. Soon he is not gonna be my little boy anymore.
Sigh! Why do kids grow so fast?! But anyway i don't like dwelling on any negative shit.
I'll just share what we did today.
So as usual instead of having a big party he chose to just have small gathering at home and invite just the closest friends so he can used some of the funds for his toy shopping. I love how he's becoming more and more practical. :D
So after we had breakfast today we headed to Toy Kingdom for his toy shopping. Toy Kingdom and Timezone are his kind of heaven.
He got all this remote controlled toys from car to gyro copter and atv. I hope the remote will last for at least a week. :D
In the afternoon his friends came over to our house. Thank you to my little sister for preparing all the food.
He is gonna have his friends sleep over our house tonight. He was thrilled when he found about it.
Good luck to us though. Having 6 kids in the house is no joke.
I don't want to imagine how the house will look tomorrow.

Dinner at Tony Roma's

After playing at Timezone we headed to Tony Roma's for dinner to have some baby back ribs. We've always love the ribs here but they kinda ruined my night. I was planning to surprise Khenzie to have ice cream or birthday cake after our meal and of course i'm willing to pay for it but they said it's for free so even better.
After our meal the girl asked if i still want that cake and i said yes, but after 15 minutes it still never came so i said screw it. Khenzie will still have a cake tomorrow anyway. So we asked for our bill then. But after 20 minutes the bill still hasn't arrived so we asked for it again. Total of 30 minutes waiting and when the girl came she asked again if we are still willing to wait for the cake. Told her our patience ran out already. Such a rip off with poor service.

Khenzie's Pre Birthday Celebration

Tomorrow my little boy would be turning 8 years old, how time flies really. Few more years and i know he'd be  rather spending time with his friends more than me and i just gotta accept it. I've been on that stage too so i know how it feels. As a mom i got nothing against it as long as he is still being responsible.
So part of his birthday plans is to spend time at Timezone, which is his kind of heaven aside from Toy Kingdom of course. :D

His favorite spot every after game. :)

Gyumon Yakiniku

Yakiniku for dinner tonight. We headed to Gyumon Yakiniku at the Makati Creekside Mall. Ryan and I been on this place a few times already and we both love the place. They have a big menu and we love the service also.
For the starter we got finely shredded cabbage bathed in japanese vinaigrette salad and kimchi.
We got some Jo Karubi  meat also which was very tender, flavorful and actually just melt in your tongue. Then some beef tongue, i thought it would be gross but it was actually very really delicious.A bit chewy but good taste.

Future Music Festival Asia 2013

The second day of FMFA was even wilder than the first one. Even though there was more people that came at ASOT600 the whole night was still crazy. I've seen lots people laying on the ground, passed out or puking. From the entrance I've seen some groups also carrying their friend outside the event. A girl look like was having seizure on the ground and to my dismay the staff at the event was just watching her. I felt so bad that i had to ask them to call for medics. What's the use of having ambulance and medics at the event if they are just watching them almost passing out.

This is my very first music festival. I'm used to just going to club events where in you can have all the comfort that you need. A vip stage if you need more air, attentive waiters, and of course my boyfriend and friends that will not leave me no matter what.

So seeing those things bothered me so much. Can't stop thinking what if i was that girl. But then i know myself so much too that i will never risk my night just like that. I just wished those group would learn their lesson next time to party responsibly.

I love how my diy top came out. I ran out of cotton clothes to wear at the festival so i asked Ryan if it's ok to cut his Calvin Klein shirt. Haha (thank you babe). I didn't really know that it is hot as hell in Malaysia. Good thing i love sleeping wearing boyfriend's t shirt so i had an extra.:D

Normally i like to be in front of the stage. No matter how crowded it is i will always find ways to get in front. But this time i didn't even think of going to the dance floor. With Prodigy on the stage? There's just no way I'd brave it. :D Besides I'm not really into Prodigy. I just went because Ryan wanted to see them. It's a compromise since he's not really into Trance either. :)

We were so glad to have found a stall that was selling margarita. And not just margarita, the mix was really good also. A bit pricey but its better than drinking that shit Asahi beer. Ryan and I were both so upset on Friday night to find out that the whole event was just selling Asahi beer. Like WTF! No hard liqiour at the Festival is just so wrong. First, not all people loves beer and second, if they had a deal with Asahi Malaysia they should have at least put in on their website or facebook page. We bought these vip tickets hoping that we'll have our own bar just to find out that the bar is only filled of Asahi beer. But oh well, we're not really gonna ruin our night just for that. :D

I love the fireworks. What a great way to end the night.
