Again another beautiful island as part of our island hopping trip. Banana island is only 15-20 minutes boat ride from Malcapuya Island. It surely didn't disappoint even though it was not as picturesque as Malcapuya Island. Snorkeling was so much more fun here especially for non swimmers because the water is so shallow and there's already tons of fishes even at the shore. I snorkeled for hours even though I hate getting dark. The corals and fishes were just too gorgeous to be ignored.

Malcapuya Island - Coron Palawan
Day 3 in Coron was spent sailing, swimming and snorkeling in Malcapuya and Banana Island. A huge thanks to Mr.Sunshine for we've had a perfect weather that day. Getting here takes about one hour boat ride. Malcapuya is one of the nicest beach in the Philippines and can be easily compared to Boracay's beauty. It's powdery white sands and crystal clear water is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The boys wanted to snorkel on deeper part though so I just decided to go back to our tent and enjoyed the stunning view of the island.

Caps Point - Coron Palawan
10.11.13
Last stop of our Coron Island Tour was at Caps Point. Caps Point is just beside CYC beach the public beach of Coron. Among all the snorkeling sites it had the best corals and fishes. However, we had to cut short our trip due to rain and waves getting stronger.

Maquinit Hot Spring - Coron Palawan
10.11.13
A dip into natural hot spring of Maquinit was the best treat to our body after a whole day of swimming and snorkeling. This wasn't included on our coron island tour. We just rented a tricycle for 250 pesos and the guy waited for us for one hour. It is better to come here when the sun is still up for a better view.

Skeleton Wreck and Coral Garden - Coron Palawan
Coron Island Tour third stop was at Skeleton Wreck, it is where you can see the sunken japanese wrecks but since it was raining we couldn't really get a good sight of it. What we did instead was to feed the fishes of our leftover rice. It was amazing to see a variety of fish with their lovely colors and all shapes.
After we fed the fishes we then headed to Coral Garden. It was still raining hard so i just chose to sit on a boat. The rain didn't stop Khenzie and Clinton though from snorkeling. They were loving the beautiful view under water even when they were already shaking from cold.

Atwayan Beach - Coron Palawan
10.10.13
The second stop of our Coron Island Tour was to this pristine white sand beach. This is a popular stop over to have lunch. The water was still really clear even if it was cloudy and drizzly that day. After we ate lunch i just settled to this rustic nipa huts while watching Khenzie swimming or playing in the sand.

This is Paradise - Kayangan Lake
Undoubtedly the best part of our Coron Island Tour. Though i love every corner of Coron Palawan, Kayangan Lake has my heart. Kayangan Lake and its surrounding waters is home to indigenous Tagbanua tribe. There is about seven lake here but only 2 is open to public. The place hasn't change much from 3 years ago. It is still very enchanting. The views at every corner is just breathtaking. The stillness of water, huge limestone formation and lush vegetation gives me a very peaceful sensation.Thank you Tagbanua tribe for sharing this magical place with us.
