Bamboo Nest de Chiang Rai
Bamboo Nest is a lovely bamboo guesthouse set amidst the mountains of Chiang Rai. It is so tucked away in its own corner of earth, so far away all you hear is the sound of silence. It was almost as if the time stood still here.
The bamboo huts are basic, but surprisingly comfortable. Each had a small solar power to provide some light in the evenings after the sun sets and a propane water heater for hot showers, and the best views you can ever imagine.
As dusk fell we would lit a campfire on a platform over the valley's edge, we would sit beside it, staring at the the sea of stars while sipping my favorite wine. The almost full moon makes the view even more intense and beautiful.
This place is an absolute bliss. Cant wait to return one day.

Happy Mother's Day
Being a mom is not easy. You are responsible for another person's life the moment you decide to have one. There's no books to tell you how to do it, no boss to tell you when you made mistake and how to put it right. It's a challenge that never ends but watching your kids grow and learn and just how great it is to have someone call you mommy and look up to you for everything and to know that they love you back unconditionally is the best feeling in the world too. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mom's out there.

Singapore Zoo
This zoo is probably the best i have ever been to. You get so close to all the animals and they are all in a natural enclosures. The information signs regarding the animals were really good, brief and interesting. There's lots of exhibits and animal show and you can even join the staff when feeding them. The place is huge it can easily take up your whole day so for more fun wear a comfy clothes and shoes, bring extras too for there is a wet area where kids can play.
All these for only 28 sgd ( 22$) per adult and 18 sgd (14$) per child.
